Aww I miss the Marching Band more then I thought that I would. All the people were great and it was overall a good time and I love looking back at the pictures and always have a smile when I do.

I was never in the marching band but did play the flute in my freshman and sophmore years. I had many friends who were part of the Mighty Viking Marching Band though. As a parent now of two children in a marching band (The Bayside Magnificent Marching Marlins in Virginia Beach, VA)I wanted to see how well my old school was doing. You guys look great. I was a band dork 97, 98, and 99! Trumpet section...hard to believe it was a decade ago now. I watched the old Mancini show, i am feeling a little bit old now.

Hi, this is John Boyd, class of 1992. Just wanted to give a shout to the Mighty Viking Marching Band! A few of us from back in those days became musicians and band directors. I'm band director at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach.
It's GREAT to see the band's continuing the tradition of Excellence!
