How
to handle tips received while working the pub! We
are allowed to take tips while working the pub. This is
the ONLY stand where we are permitted to put out a tip jar and
receive tips.
Tips
should be counted AFTER all closing and cleaning duties have
been accomplished. Normally there is more than one
group represented at the pub, make sure each group is represented
while counting the tips. The tips are then split equally
between the groups (i.e., band and girl scouts). One representative
from the band will bring the tips home with them. They are
then responsible for e-mailing me, Candy
Biegun,
with the amount earned and getting the money to Robert
Easterday,
Band Treasurer. Unless you see Robert
Easterday on
a regular basis the easiest way to accomplish this is to put
the money in an
envelope labeled for "Jim Lewis" and have your
band/guard member drop it in the silver box in Mr. Carder's
office.
Once
I receive payment for the event the tip money is added
to how much was made for the night and then the total amount
is split between everyone who worked.
I hope this explains how pub tips work, if you have any questions
feel free to give me a call.
